A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Skills:

  • Good command of the English language (written and oral) and ability to interact in local languages: Hausa and Kanuri

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Delivery EORE sessions in communities affected by conflict.
  • Guides and support community facilitators and volunteers in delivery of EORE using the approved standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure that EORE sessions are delivered in conformity with SOPs
  • Establish and maintain liaison with the community structures
  • Delivers step-down training to community facilitators and volunteers
  • Ensure that EORE sessions are targeting the at-risk groups
  • Ensure that EORE sessions are delivered in vulnerable communities
  • Keep records of daily, weekly, and monthly activities
  • Represent CENSCOPE in LGA coordination meetings
  • Performs anyone other task as maybe assigned by the supervising authority  
Required Qualifications: and Requirements
  • University education or equivalent in Administration and Social science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3years working experience in Humanitarian or NGO settings
  • Fluency in Kanuri, Hausa and other local language 
  • Previous experience in carrying out awareness or community-based EORE activities
  • Relevant experience in community-based facilitation and community mobilization.
  • Experience working with rural communities from a variety of different ethnic groups.
  • Demonstrated understanding of humanitarian principles and practices
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised
  • Strong work ethic and capacity to take responsibility for his/her own actions
  • Self-motivation, courtesy, and humility
  • Capacity to work in multicultural environments
