Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

Fort Knox Group is seeking a qualified Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will support the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems while working under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and systems
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Support testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
• Participate in maintenance planning and improvement of mechanical processes
• Assist senior engineers in project execution and implementation
• Conduct basic calculations, simulations, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and procurement departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or industrial training is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools
