## Title: Entry Level Laboratory Assistant
About the Role
We are recruiting fresh graduates for an Entry Level Laboratory Assistant position. In this role, you will support the laboratory team by assisting with the collection, preparation, and analysis of samples from our mining processing plant. You will work under supervision while learning new procedures and developing your technical skills in a professional laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect samples from various sources, including ore, crushed stone, and workshop production materials, as directed by senior staff
- Prepare samples for analysis by following established procedures, including drying, grinding, and labeling
- Ensure samples are handled properly and in accordance with laboratory protocols
- Assist with routine laboratory tasks, such as measuring, mixing, and basic testing under the supervision of experienced staff
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment by following safety and cleanliness procedures
- Support the setup and calibration of laboratory equipment as needed
- Learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques as instructed by senior laboratory personnel
- Follow guidelines precisely to ensure consistency and accuracy in laboratory work
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Lab Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
