Position Overview: - We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. - The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of teaching experience, a deep understanding of the British curriculum, and a strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint. - The successful candidate will be passionate about English language and literature and skilled in using technology to enhance learning. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the Nigerian-British curriculum. - Teach English language and literature to students at various levels, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject. - Develop and utilize creative and effective PowerPoint presentations to support lesson delivery. - Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their best. - Incorporate digital tools and resources to enhance student learning and engagement. - Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events. - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. Required Qualifications: - A Degree in English, Education, or a related field. - IGCSE and SAT Certification - Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably within the Nigeria-British curriculum. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint. - Excellent computer skills and the ability to integrate technology into teaching. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
