Engineering Support (Pre-sales)

About the Role

Smartflow Technologies Limited is seeking a qualified Engineering Support professional to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will provide critical technical support across pre-sales activities, working closely with internal teams to deliver accurate project solutions and ensure efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage all assigned tasks with proper record keeping and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams including support, sales, engineering, product management, and consulting
• Plan and execute comprehensive project surveys for new projects according to company SOP
• Generate accurate project solutions, design drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools
• Improve work processes and establish standards and systems to increase reliability and efficiency
• Schedule surveys effectively and communicate timelines promptly to all parties involved
• Prepare accurate and timely project reports
• Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)
• Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out safely through proper systems

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related engineering support position
• B.Sc. or HND degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential and mandatory)
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
