Engineering Manager (Solar Energy)

Role Overview

We are recruiting an Engineering Manager to lead solar engineering projects from concept through execution. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in solar systems, and hands-on engineering experience. You will be responsible for managing our engineering team, ensuring technical excellence, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and delivering projects on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team across solar project designs and installations
• Oversee system design, load analysis, and technical specifications for solar solutions
• Ensure all projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and project teams to deliver optimal solutions
• Review engineering drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical documentation
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and engineering performance metrics

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• 3–5 years of proven experience in solar engineering with expert knowledge of solar PV systems
• Strong understanding of inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and system integration
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams and solar projects
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Based in Lagos or willing to relocate
