Engineering and Product Services (Technician/Engineer)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound professional to join our Engineering and Product Services team. In this role, you will be the hands-on expert ensuring that high-tech laboratory equipment—including automated Soxhlet Extractors—is installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. You will play a critical part in maximizing our clients' productivity by providing reliable technical support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical assistance for the installation and commissioning of laboratory and scientific equipment
• Execute routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and peak performance
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic faults in complex laboratory systems quickly and effectively
• Guide users on the proper operation of automated systems to ensure safety and efficiency
• Work closely with the team to enhance the performance of lipid and solvent extraction systems for our clients

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a similar engineering or technical service role
• HND or B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Required Skills

• Strong ability to diagnose and repair basic electrical and electronic components
• Solid computer skills for reporting, diagnostics, and software-driven equipment calibration
• Disciplined approach to engineering standards to ensure all systems meet rigorous safety protocols
• Proactive mindset with the ability to think on your feet when facing technical challenges on-site
