Electrical Engineer at Harvest Feed and Agro Processing Limited

About the Role

An established company is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to design, install, and maintain electrical systems for industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain electrical systems
• Conduct power distribution, lighting, and control system audits to optimize energy use
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, PLCs, and motor control centers
• Develop and enforce safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out, PPE, and grounding protocols
• Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to integrate automation solutions
• Prepare electrical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and maintenance schedules using AutoCAD/EPLAN
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and local regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or plant electrical systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, and HMI systems
• Strong knowledge of motor drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power-factor correction
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
