Electrical Engineer

Position Overview: - Apple and Pears Limited, a manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical & Electronics Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize electrical and electronic systems within our food manufacturing facility. - The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of production and packaging equipment while minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Position Overview: / Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems on production and packaging machinery - Diagnose and repair faults on control panels, motors, sensors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems - Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrical and electronic equipment - Support installation, commissioning, and modification of production machines - Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company SOPs - Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation - Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to improve equipment efficiency - Supervise and provide technical guidance to technicians when required Required Qualifications: & Requirements - Minimum of HND / B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline - Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in an Electrical & Electronics Engineer role within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry - Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, automation, and control - Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial instrumentation - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills Residency Requirement: - Candidates must reside in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby environs.
