Job description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: The Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems across multiple projects. This position requires a senior professional capable of handling complex electrical engineering tasks, leading teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the strategic growth of Bagno Technik’s engineering capabilities.

  • Reporting To: Head of Department
  • Work Mode: Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed electrical system designs, layouts, and schematics for industrial, commercial, and technological projects.
  • Conduct load calculations, short-circuit studies, and system simulations to optimize performance.
  • Ensure all designs and installations comply with local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.
  • Lead installation and testing of electrical systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and procurement departments.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation for management and clients.
  • Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults in systems and equipment.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance operational performance and energy efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices, fostering skill development and technical excellence.
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures in all electrical works.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and changes in regulations to maintain compliance and innovation.
Required Qualifications: and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in electrical engineering within industrial, commercial, or technological sectors.
  • Professional certification (e.g., COREN registration in Nigeria) is highly desirable.
