## Title: E&I Technician Level 3

About the Role

The E&I Technician Level 3 is responsible for troubleshooting and planned maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment and systems in ISBL installations during working hours. The primary objective is to ensure safe and reliable operations of all systems.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical and Electronic Maintenance

  • Identify and analyze malfunction occurrences
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic faults on-site (e.g., motor fuses, position and pressure measurements, pump motor control)
  • Collaborate with or work under the supervision of day E&I technicians on complex tasks
  • De-energize and re-energize devices safely
  • Verify measurements and circuits on installations, making necessary connections
  • Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical equipment, including pneumatic, electric, heat tracing, and fluid powered items

Equipment Repair and Replacement

  • Repair and replace AC/DC motors (480/4160 VAC)
  • Service motor starters, buckets (480/4160 VAC), and switchgear (480/4160 and up)
  • Repair drives, relays, switches, instruments, and breaker panels across low to medium voltage ranges
  • Repair actuated quarter-turn valves with position indication
  • Pull cable, run conduit, and terminate electrical wiring per drawings

Instrumentation Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot, replace, and calibrate instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level, position switches)
  • Service process analyzers and LEL/Toxic gas detectors

Preventive and Automation Maintenance

  • Perform preventive automation maintenance on appliances and installations
  • Conduct regularly scheduled tests on safety circuits following strictly defined procedures and steps

Process Changes and Installation

  • Contribute to the implementation of modifications to installations and processes (MOC)
  • Install new components or remove obsolete components as part of MOC processes
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to troubleshoot, install, and replace electrical systems
