About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within our Projects & Technology (P&T) division. As an E&I Construction Engineer, you will provide technical support and assurance to Construction Phase deliverables for the Electrical, Instrument & Telecoms (EI&T) discipline on large-scale onshore LNG projects and capital projects across our integrated gas portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assurance for Electrical, Instrument & Telecoms (EI&T) construction deliverables
- Report to the Construction Lead for Construction/CLU on construction progress, technical integrity, and quality of EI&T scope to ensure delivery meets project requirements
- Establish working relationships and manage performance of contractor's EI&T engineers
- Ensure EI&T scope is delivered safely and in compliance with construction best practices, supporting commissioning and start-up requirements
- Respond promptly and accurately to EI&T construction-related queries raised by the Contractor
- Support other disciplines as needed during the construction phase, with working experience in mechanical/piping construction expected
- Capture, share, and apply discipline-related learnings during construction and disseminate best practices
- Participate in technical audits, multidisciplinary reviews, and peer assists
- Provide technical advice on construction of EI&T systems to support commercial and claims defense for project efforts
- Work actively with Client's site discipline engineers to ensure EI&T integrity, operability, and maintainability & inspection requirements are properly aligned
- Continuously strive for execution performance benchmarked as top tier in the industry
About the Organization
P&T Projects (PTP) manages and delivers Capital Projects worldwide across all Business units. P&T Integrated Gas Projects (PTP/I) is accountable for project delivery of individual large onshore LNG projects and supports the effectiveness of front-end managed projects and new business development opportunities across the Integrated Gas Portfolio.
