Early Years Teacher/Supervisor

Position Overview

Halifield Schools, Lekki Branch, is seeking a passionate, experienced, and nurturing Early Years Teacher/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of early childhood education, classroom management, and supervisory skills to ensure a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons in line with the school's curriculum
• Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and management
• Supervise early years staff and ensure adherence to school policies and standards
• Maintain accurate records of pupils' development and classroom activities
• Ensure the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all pupils at all times
• Organize and participate in school activities, events, and meetings

Requirements

• Minimum of NCE/B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education or related field
• At least 2–4 years' experience in an early years setting (supervisory experience is an added advantage)
• Strong knowledge of EYFS or relevant early years curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Passion for working with young children
