About the Role

Brighthouse Academy in Kogi State is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of young learners' educational journeys in a nurturing and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an engaging, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth
• Work closely with fellow teachers, parents, and school administration to ensure each pupil receives the highest quality education
• Help students unlock their potential and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, OR
• A degree in any field with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, OR
• A National Certificate in Education (NCE) with a minimum of 3 years of experience

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as an Early Years Teacher

Preferred Qualifications

• TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certification
• Experience with Jolly Phonics
• Experience in developing eLearning resources

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories, practices, and teaching techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Basic proficiency with computing devices such as computers, scanners, and printers
