An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join New Ideal Model Schools in Jalingo as an Early Years Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that focus on early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and creative play using methods such as stories, songs, and games
• Supervise children in the classroom and during outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and adherence to behavioral rules
• Monitor and record each child's progress, maintain individual files, and write reports to document development
• Foster partnerships with parents by providing regular updates on their child's progress and developmental needs
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, safe, and stimulating by adhering to all health and safety regulations and completing necessary risk assessments
• Address the physical needs of young children, including feeding and first aid provision
• Act as a keyworker for a designated group of children

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc or B.Ed) or Master's Degree
• 2-15 years of relevant experience
