Job description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will supervise staff on shift, handle guest concerns professionally, and ensure hotel standards, safety, and policies are strictly maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts - Act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling complaints and special requests promptly - Supervise and support front office, housekeeping, security, and other operational staff on duty - Ensure compliance with hotel policies, service standards, and safety procedures - Monitor room occupancy, check-ins/check-outs, and overall guest flow - Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently - Prepare shift reports and handover notes for management - Ensure proper use of hotel facilities and resources - Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth service delivery Requirements: & Qualifications - HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field - Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel operations or supervisory role - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills - Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities - Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Skills: & Competencies - Leadership & team coordination - Guest relations & service excellence - Decision-making under pressure - Attention to detail - Professional appearance and attitude
