About the Role

We are looking for a qualified driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, staff, goods, and equipment to designated locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of traffic laws, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles, including cars and ambulances
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries, considering traffic and road conditions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and other relevant information
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle
• Assist with loading and unloading goods and equipment as required
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all passengers and colleagues
• Handle cash or payment transactions, if applicable, and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Primary School Leaving Certificate or SSCE
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 4-5 years of driving experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good knowledge of the Lagos road network
• Ability to navigate using GPS/Google Maps
• Good knowledge of road signs and Lagos State traffic laws
