Position Overview: - We are hiring a responsible and experienced Driver to join our team. - The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and familiar with the road network within and around the city. - This role involves transporting company staff and products safely and efficiently, while maintaining a professional demeanor and a well-kept vehicle. Key Responsibilities: - Safely transport company personnel and goods to designated locations. - Plan travel routes to avoid traffic delays and road construction. - Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance. - Ensure the company vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times. - Accurately log daily trips, fuel consumption, kilometers driven, and work/rest periods. - Keep records of toll payments and fuel receipts. - Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies. - Collect, verify, and follow through on delivery or travel instructions. - Report any accidents, damages, or vehicle-related issues promptly to management. - Other Duties as assigned. Requirements: and Experience - Minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). - At least 3 years of driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment. - Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations. - Familiarity with Abuja road networks and major routes is a must. - Valid Nigerian driving license. - Must be currently residing in Abuja. - Ability to drive long hours and occasionally travel outside the city when needed. - Sound judgment and ability to handle unexpected situations, such as traffic congestion or adverse weather. - Must be willing to undergo background and drug checks. - Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism. - Ability to provide reliable references or employment recommendations.
