## Title: Drilling Rig Offshore Installation (OI) Site Advisor III

About the Role

Habrams Energy is seeking a motivated Drilling Rig Offshore Installation (OI) Site Advisor III to support drilling operations at our Lagos, Nigeria facility. In this position, you will serve as the primary contact for Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) issues related to rig-based drilling activities, executing initiatives and responding to requests from the drill team.

Main Functions

  • Support drilling operations regarding Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) issues
  • Serve as the rig site contact for all SSHE matters related to drilling activities
  • Execute safety initiatives and respond to requests and questions from the drill team
  • Work offshore as a rig site safety advisor

Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Level 3 Advisor, you will perform all Level 1 and 2 tasks, plus:

  • Administer company safety awareness, recognition, and incentive programs on site
  • Liaise and work with national workforces
  • Identify trends to develop programs and initiatives that promote an injury-free work environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (preferred) and/or previous experience in a closely related position
  • Extensive knowledge of drilling operations, processes, safety rules, and regulations
  • Relevant industry experience in offshore or onshore drilling activities
  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak), particularly for technical and business communications

Required Skills

  • Very strong demonstrated organisational and technical judgement skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence drilling workforce employees and contractors
  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in international locales and with diverse cultures
  • High degree of ethical conduct
  • Ability to work in harsh environments (temperature and humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities
  • Willingness to travel and live away from home for extended periods
