Draughtsman

A top employer is now accepting applications for this role. Position Overview: - We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team in Ibeju-Lekki. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and designs, as well as assisting in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates. - The candidate must have strong technical drawing skills and the ability to interpret design concepts into accurate working drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed architectural/engineering drawings using AutoCAD or other design software - Interpret sketches, specifications, and design briefs into technical drawings - Revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements - Prepare layout plans, working drawings, and as-built drawings - Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and project cost estimates - Support the project team with material take-offs and budgeting - Ensure drawings comply with relevant building codes and regulations - Maintain proper documentation and filing of drawings and revisions. Requirements: - OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Engineering, or related field - 2–4 years relevant experience as a draughtsman.
