Job description

The Dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact at each Classic Cream E-Bakery hub, ensuring smooth daily operations, efficient customer service, accurate inventory handling, and timely dispatch of high-quality baked products. They embody the brand’s values and are accountable for maintaining service excellence, operational efficiency, and product integrity at the last-mile level. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect all bread received from the bakery for quality and freshness. - Process orders, handle customer complaints professionally, and escalate issues where necessary. - Receive, verify, and prepare daily orders for dispatch. - Tag and record orders accurately to prevent mix-ups or delays. - Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels of bread. - Perform daily opening and closing stock counts. - Assign orders to dispatch riders efficiently. - Track deliveries and ensure timely dispatch to customers. - Verify returns, undelivered items, and follow up on delivery issues. - Ensure that damaged or substandard items are not dispatched to customers. - Maintain hygiene and proper storage standards at the hub. - Keep daily activity logs including sales, inventory, customer feedback, and rider reports. - Submit daily reports to the Operations Manager using the prescribed formats. - Ensure the hub is always clean and organized. - Report maintenance issues promptly for resolution. Distribute flyers, coordinate sampling efforts, and build customer relationships Required Skills & Competencies - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs). - Knowledge of logistics and delivery operations is an advantage. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Reliable, accountable, and trustworthy. Education: al & Professional Requirements - HND/BSc or minimum of ND/NCE in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain, or related fields. - Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in retail, logistics, or customer service roles. - Previous experience in food distribution or FMCG is an added advantage.
