About the Role

An established company is seeking a reliable and professional Dispatch Rider to join their operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients in a respectful and professional manner
• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients and suppliers safely and efficiently
• Ensure correct quantity and types of products are delivered to the correct locations and customers
• Pick up and deliver parcels according to schedule
• Deliver items by examining their contents, verifying destination accuracy, route, rate, and delivery time
• Send and post letters and documents to designated locations
• Verify items issued and delivered by submitting acknowledgment copies; note any discrepancies and ensure copies are returned to the office
• Keep the Operations Manager informed of any issues encountered during pickup or delivery of shipments
• Handle all shipments safely and with care
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe riding record

Required Qualifications

• First Degree qualification (minimum)
• At least 3 years of dispatch rider experience
• Valid Rider's Card/Permit
• Excellent knowledge of Agbor and its environs
