Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Dispatch Rider to join our delivery team. The primary responsibility of this role is to receive, pick up, and deliver packages, documents, and other items to customers and businesses in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the local road network, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect packages, documents, and goods from the company warehouse or client locations and deliver them to the correct recipients within designated time frames
• Plan and execute the most efficient routes for delivery and pickup to ensure prompt service while managing fuel consumption
• Perform basic daily maintenance checks on the assigned bike (e.g., oil, brakes, tires, lights) and report any major mechanical issues immediately to the logistics manager
• Accurately collect and record delivery signatures, receipts, and other necessary documentation for each transaction
• Interact with customers and clients in a polite, professional, and helpful manner, handling items with care to prevent damage
• Strictly adhere to all national and local traffic laws and regulations and operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintain constant communication with the dispatch team using a mobile phone or radio, providing updates on delivery status, traffic conditions, and any potential delays
• Verify the accuracy of orders being picked up or delivered against shipping documents

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Rider's license
• A minimum of 1–2 years of proven experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or in a similar role (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of local road networks
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to customer service
• Safety-conscious mindset with adherence to traffic regulations
