## Title: Director, Finance and Corporate Services
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) as Director, Finance and Corporate Services. This leadership position oversees critical finance, information technology, and procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Develop and drive the Fund's financial strategy, budgets, and work plans aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee financial management and reporting in line with statutory requirements (IFRS/IPSAS)
- Manage cash flow planning, treasury activities, and optimal funds deployment
- Authorize expenditures and transactions within approved financial authority limits
- Engage high-level internal and external stakeholders including MDAs, board members, and donors
Information Technology
- Develop and implement IT plans to meet immediate and long-term organizational needs
- Oversee development of CRM and Programme Application Portal to harmonize all Fund programmes
- Evaluate and upgrade IT infrastructure to support future growth and process improvement
- Lead development of an efficient ERP solution that reduces manual processes
- Ensure cost-effective, sustainable ICT capability with rapid integration capabilities
Procurement
- Design, develop, and implement procurement policies aligned with public procurement guidelines
- Lead negotiations, contract agreements, and supplier/contractor management
- Coordinate procurement processes and drive continuous improvement
- Oversee documentation and compliance management
Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree or Higher National Diploma (minimum Lower Credit) from a recognized institution
- Master's Degree (advantageous)
- Professional accounting qualification required: CFA, ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
- Minimum 12 years' cognate experience in finance or related function
- Proven experience in social-impact or not-for-profit organizations (preferred)
- Proficiency with IFRS or IPSAS standards
- NYSC discharge certificate (mandatory)
