Position Overview
The Director of Corporate Finance & Strategy will lead corporate financial planning, investment strategy, capital allocation, and enterprise performance management for the organisation. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring exceptional analytical rigour, strategic foresight, and mastery in guiding C-suite decisions. The successful candidate will shape long-term financial direction, oversee mergers and acquisitions insights, and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen organisational stability and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of corporate finance strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation's long-term goals
- Oversee capital allocation frameworks, financial modelling, scenario planning, and strategic forecasting
- Provide executive-level advisory on investment decisions, M&A opportunities, and portfolio optimisation
- Guide annual and multi-year budget planning, financial governance, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align financial strategy with regulatory requirements and economic trends
- Drive strategy formulation processes, including risk-adjusted planning, organisational prioritisation, and initiative sequencing
- Advise senior leadership on economic, geopolitical, and market developments affecting long-term investment direction
- Produce high-level board and executive reports that support accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making
Education & Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent are highly advantageous
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in corporate finance, investment strategy, economic advisory, or related sector
- Proven expertise in capital allocation and enterprise performance management
