## Title: Direct Sales Agent
Job Summary
Payment Access System Limited (PaySys) is seeking a motivated Direct Sales Agent to sell our digital financial services and products directly to customers, merchants, and agents within an assigned territory. The role focuses on onboarding new customers, promoting fintech products (wallets, POS services, mobile banking, loans, bill payments, etc.), and driving transaction growth through field engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers for digital banking, wallets, POS services, and other fintech products
- Conduct customer onboarding, ensuring accurate KYC requirements and documentation
- Promote account openings, wallet activations, and product registrations
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for customer acquisition and product uptake
- Conduct market activations, field promotions, and door-to-door campaigns
- Upsell and cross-sell other fintech products such as loans, savings, insurance, bill payments, and transfers
- Identify and onboard merchants for payment acceptance, POS usage, and other digital payment services
- Provide basic training to merchants on device usage, app navigation, and transaction handling
- Support agents or merchants in resolving simple operational challenges
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and merchants in assigned areas
- Provide frontline support and escalate complex issues to supervisors
- Conduct periodic follow-ups to encourage customer retention and transaction activity
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and submit timely reports
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and all regulatory requirements
- Report field insights, customer feedback, and competitor activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in field sales, banking, fintech, or telecoms (preferred)
