About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to support the design team with concept development, space planning, visual presentations, material sourcing, site coordination, and general project tasks. This position offers hands-on experience in interior design for someone who enjoys creative work, pays attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop layouts, sketches, and basic space planning concepts
• Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and visual materials
• Source materials, finishes, furniture, and suppliers
• Assist with site visits, measurements, and progress documentation
• Support project documentation, including drawings and reports
• Maintain sample library and organize design materials
• Work with designers on client deliverables
• Handle basic administrative tasks tied to ongoing design projects

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field
• NYSC corps members and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Experience

• No formal experience required
• Prior coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio are advantageous
• Formal experience is a plus but not required

Required Skills

• Strong interest in interior design
• Good eye for aesthetics and detail
• Ability to sketch or communicate design ideas visually
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good time management and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is advantageous
