Job Summary

The QA/QC Deputy Manager supports the QA/QC Manager in maintaining and enhancing the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with ISO, regulatory, and client requirements.

The role assists in developing and improving QA/QC policies and procedures, reviewing engineering deliverables, and overseeing quality processes across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.

The Deputy Manager helps lead inspections, audits, FATs, and testing activities, facilitates the resolution of non-conformities, and ensures proper documentation of quality records.

The position also collaborates with project teams to address quality issues, promotes safety within QA/QC operations, and supports communication with clients, regulators, and certification bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's QMS
• Support the development and enforcement of quality policies and procedures in line with industry best practices
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, API, NACE, etc.)
• Provide guidance on quality control processes across all phases of projects
• Assist in the review and audit of engineering deliverables from the Engineering Service Contractor (ESC)
• Support the QA/QC Manager in conducting periodic internal and external audits to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare and review QA/QC reports, including surveillance reports, test summaries, and audit findings
• Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections, tests, and quality-related activities
• Ensure all test reports from fabrication yards and project sites are properly documented and archived
• Assist in the coordination of project material inspections in collaboration with QA/QC Inspectors
• Monitor quality standards across all project phases
