Deposit Mobilisation Officer at Digitvant Microfinance Bank

Job Summary

Digitvant Microfinance Bank seeks a motivated Deposit Mobilisation Officer to drive the acquisition of deposit funds from both new and existing clients, including individuals, SMEs, cooperatives, and corporate entities. This role focuses on developing and maintaining long-term relationships that support the organization's funding goals within a digital and microfinance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to attract fixed deposits, savings, and other liability products from retail and institutional clients
• Identify, engage, and convert potential depositors through field visits, networking, referrals, partnerships, and digital campaigns
• Build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, cooperatives, religious and professional bodies
• Cross-sell deposit products and ensure consistent customer engagement to retain funds
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry deposit rates and competitive offerings to position the organization competitively
• Ensure all deposit mobilization activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Track deposit performance and prepare periodic reports on targets, leads, conversions, and renewals
• Coordinate with internal teams including operations, compliance, and marketing to ensure seamless onboarding and satisfaction of deposit clients
