Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to transform raw sales and market data into actionable insights for our sales and operations teams. The ideal candidate will track trends, forecast demand, and highlight growth opportunities across regions and product lines — enabling the business to prioritize high-potential products and markets.

This role blends data analysis, reporting, and strategic thinking to provide critical support to our commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Trend Analysis

• Analyze historical sales of PET Preforms and chemicals to identify high-demand products, seasonal trends, and sales fluctuations
• Highlight emerging product trends and shifts in customer preferences

Market & Regional Insights

• Identify growth opportunities across regions, states, and industries
• Monitor competitor activity and general market trends in Nigeria
• Recommend new customer segments and expansion strategies

Dashboard & Reporting

• Develop interactive dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to visualize key business metrics
• Prepare regular MIS reports summarizing product demand, regional performance, and seasonal variations
• Provide ad hoc reports to support sales initiatives and market campaigns

Inventory & Procurement Support

• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align product demand insights with inventory planning
• Highlight slow-moving products and recommend rationalization or reallocation strategies

Forecasting & Scenario Analysis

• Use historical data to forecast future demand by product, region, or customer segment
• Conduct scenario analysis to guide sales and procurement decisions

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the sales team to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
• Present findings clearly to management to support informed business decisions
