## Title: Customer Service Representative
About the Role
Beveledge Interior Designs, a reputable organization in Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will work alongside our sales team to ensure customers have exceptional experiences throughout the pre- and post-sales process, helping position Beveledge Designs as a major player in the Nigerian furniture industry.
Core Responsibilities
- Service customers seeking assistance with pre-order inquiries, including product information, marketing campaigns, and identifying upsell opportunities using our online customer service platform
- Address post-order issues such as returns, replacements, refunds, delivery status, back order inquiries, and problem resolution
- Meet customer satisfaction, efficiency metrics, and issue resolution targets while exceeding customer expectations, building loyalty, and identifying sales opportunities
- Project a professional company image through phone, chat, and email interactions
- Recognize, document, and alert supervisors to trends identified in customer calls
- Generate and monitor performance reports to achieve higher customer satisfaction scores
- Uphold high customer service standards consistently
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned, including processing calls or emails during high-demand periods
Requirements
- Freshdesk experience or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- 2+ years of sales experience in a related field (preferred)
- Proven track record working successfully in a high-volume environment
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with current e-commerce trends (preferred)
- Experience in furniture and retail industries (preferred)
- Regular and reliable attendance
