Position Overview:
- In this role, you will be responsible for attending to customers, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience through prompt service, professionalism, and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and answer questions about menu items.
- Take and process food and drink orders accurately.
- Ensure customers receive their orders correctly and promptly.
- Handle payments using POS systems and issue receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service counter and dining area.
- Assist with packing takeout and delivery orders neatly.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate to a supervisor when needed.
- Restock service items like napkins, cutlery, and takeaway packaging.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Support team members during peak hours for smooth operations.
- Actively promote products and upsell to increase customer spend.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic computer & Mathematics knowledge is an advantage.
Experience:
- Customer service or sales-related role, preferably within food service, retail, or hospitality.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with customers and drive sales through upselling or product promotion.
