## Title: Customer Service Agent

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will educate customers on our product and service offerings, drive sales, and build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate customers on the benefits of products and services, assisting them in selecting the most suitable options based on their needs
  • Drive sales of mobile money (MoMo) services by explaining the convenience and security of digital transactions and assisting customers with account setup
  • Assist clients with enrollment and registration processes
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
  • Cross-sell other products and services
  • Generate interest in new products or services and connect customers with sales personnel when required
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels
  • Perform mathematical calculations regarding sales and inventory
  • Stay informed about market trends, product advancements, and competitive offerings to strategically position our products
  • Share insights with management regarding market developments, customer preferences, and areas for improvement
  • Complete activity and task reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Attend all required customer service-related meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunications, mobile money, or related industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse customer groups
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a focus on closing sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
