## Title: Customer Service Agent

About the Role

Jibs-Ray Nigeria Limited is recruiting a Customer Service Agent to join our team in Lagos. In this position, you will be the face of our company, educating customers about our products and services while driving sales and building lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate customers on the benefits of products and service offerings, assisting them in selecting the most suitable options based on their needs
  • Drive sales of mobile money (MoMo) services by explaining the convenience and security of digital transactions and helping customers set up accounts
  • Assist clients with enrollment and registration processes
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
  • Cross-sell other products and services to maximize customer value
  • Generate interest in new products or services and connect customers with sales personnel when required
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the company
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels
  • Perform mathematical calculations regarding sales and inventory
  • Remain informed about market trends, product advancements, and competition to strategically position our products
  • Share insights with management regarding market developments, consumer preferences, and areas for improvement
  • Complete activity and task reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Attend all required customer service-related meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in telecommunications, mobile money, or related industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills with a focus on closing sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and drive to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
