## Title: Customer Care Officer
Job Summary
The Customer Care Officer is responsible for managing customer interactions, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring guests receive excellent service from the moment they contact or visit the restaurant. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to maintain a positive customer experience across all touchpoints, including in-person, phone, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to customers politely upon arrival or via phone calls
- Respond to all customer inquiries regarding menu items, services, reservations, and restaurant policies
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Maintain a calm and friendly attitude during high-pressure situations
- Communicate guests' needs, feedback, and concerns to the appropriate department
- Assist with reservation management, booking confirmation, and customer follow-up messages
- Respond to customer messages on WhatsApp, social media, or online ordering platforms
- Monitor customer reviews and escalate areas that need improvement
- Assist the front-of-house team during busy hours with welcoming customers or directing them to tables
- Share daily updates, customer feedback, and operational concerns with the manager
- Maintain accurate customer records, reservation logs, and complaint registers
- Assist in documenting daily customer interactions and service improvements
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and professional conduct
- Protect customer privacy and handle all customer information confidentially
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE
- OND/HND/BSc in related fields is an added advantage
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills
