## Title: Cultural & Creative Arts Teacher
About the Role
S-TEE Schools is seeking a dedicated Cultural & Creative Arts Teacher to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this position, you will be responsible for fostering students' interest in and understanding of Cultural & Creative Arts, while delivering engaging and motivating lessons across varying classes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in each student an interest in and the ability to understand and utilize their knowledge of Cultural & Creative Arts
- Oversee the provision of relevant and up-to-date advice and support for pupils in the subject
- Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabuses and courses in line with available resources
- Maintain full and accurate records of students' achievements
- Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons to students across varying classes
- Utilize learning technology in the planning and delivery of lessons
- Keep up to date with curriculum changes and reforms
- Develop lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
- Plan for, provide, and maintain physical resources necessary for learning and syllabus delivery (books, past papers, file shares, furniture, equipment, etc.). Liaise with other departments where necessary
- Undertake other roles that may arise in the department or wider school environment
- Perform any other duties as required by the Head of School/Principal
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
- Strong practical knowledge and skills in delivering lessons to students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Genuine enthusiasm and passion for teaching with demonstrated care for young learners
- Ability to utilize technology in the teaching and learning process
