Credit Officer (Lagos Island)

About the Role

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is seeking a Credit Officer to facilitate lending for our clients by assessing creditworthiness and processing relevant paperwork. This position covers Lagos Island and surrounding areas including Obalande, Apongbon, CMS, Idumota, Idumagbo, Balogun, Sura, Oke Suna, Ajah, Bogije, Sangotedo, and Epe.

In this role, you will help clients acquire loans efficiently while ensuring all requirements are met and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process loan requests
• Assess clients' financial status and evaluate creditworthiness
• Evaluate credit risks and approve or reject loan applications
• Contact clients to gather financial data and required documentation
• Analyse risks and make lending decisions
• Prepare loan applications and supporting documentation
• Set up and manage payment plans
• Maintain updated and accurate records of all loan applications
• Follow up with clients regarding loan renewals
• Monitor progress of existing loans
• Handle daily and weekly repayment collection

Required Qualifications

• NCE/OND/HND/BSc in Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field
• Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
