Job description
We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position.
- The Credit Control Officer is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from patients, corporate clients, and HMOs, ensuring timely payments and minimizing financial risk to the hospital.
- The role ensures that all credit transactions are properly tracked, reconciled, and reported, while maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support financial sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum Of 2—5 years experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial management, preferably in a healthcare or service-based industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing systems, and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g„ QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforrns).
- High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines under pressure.
