## Title: Credit and Internal Control Accountant
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Credit and Internal Control Accountant to join Ekini White Tulip Consulting Limited in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and driving timely collection of debts and receivables, ensuring compliance with internal business and accounting controls, and managing the company's financial assets and obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and manage debt collection
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Implement and maintain internal accounting and policy controls
- Monitor and control credit facilities and chase outstanding debts
- Track and manage all company assets, including stock, cash, and receivables
- Travel to meet customers and drive collection efforts as needed
Required Qualifications
- BSc or HND in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- 2–3 years of experience in a trading environment (Pharmaceutical industry experience is advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Office tools with above-average skills in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting packages, particularly QuickBooks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
- Willingness to travel and meet customers
Compensation
N250,000 per month
