Credit Analyst at Digitvant Microfinance Bank

Job Summary

Digitvant Microfinance Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our dynamic and expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating credit data, assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients, and making recommendations to support sound lending decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in credit risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess risk
• Review loan applications to determine eligibility and repayment potential
• Recommend loan terms based on risk assessment
• Monitor existing credit accounts to identify early warning signs of potential default
• Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to Management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Collaborate with the recovery team to manage delinquent accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis, preferably in a banking, fintech, or microfinance setting
• Strong knowledge of credit risk principles, lending regulations, and financial analysis
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and report-writing skills
