## Title: Credit Administrative Officer
About the Role
Neptune Microfinance Bank is seeking a Credit Administrative Officer to support the credit control department. You will be responsible for managing credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with lending policies. This role involves coordinating with clients and internal teams to facilitate the credit approval process, monitor loan disbursements, and assist in risk assessment and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process credit applications submitted by potential clients
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation and information provided
- Prepare and process loan disbursement documentation
- Assist in conducting credit risk assessments by gathering and analyzing financial data
- Prepare credit reports and summaries for review by senior credit officers and management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit transactions and client interactions
- Ensure all credit files are properly organized and stored in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare regular reports on credit activities and performance metrics
- Ensure all credit activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- BSC/HND in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in credit administration, loan processing, or a related role in the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of credit processes and risk assessment
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
