## Title: Crèche Manager

Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. The Crèche Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and smooth running of the crèche facility. The role demands a balance of childcare expertise, operational management, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children at all times
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate learning and play activities
  • Monitor and record the developmental progress of children
  • Oversee daily crèche operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Manage resources, equipment, and supplies efficiently
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including attendance, incident, and health records
  • Train and supervise childcare staff
  • Prepare duty rosters and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and promote professional development
  • Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians
  • Provide regular updates on children's progress and well-being
  • Handle concerns and complaints professionally and promptly
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and financial planning for the crèche
  • Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and inspection requirements
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, healthcare providers, and regulators
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to management
  • Foster an inclusive environment that supports diversity and respect for all children
  • Collaborate with parents to create individualized care or learning plans where necessary
  • Establish and enforce policies on hygiene, nutrition, and behavior management
  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and conduct regular safety drills
  • Ensure a positive, supportive work culture that encourages teamwork among staff
  • Undertake any additional duties as may be assigned by management

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification
