About the Position

Class Suites Hotels & Apartments is seeking suitably qualified candidates for the Cook position in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients including washing, chopping, and measuring
• Cook dishes using various methods such as grilling, frying, and baking
• Present food attractively and according to standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized work area
• Ensure kitchen equipment is in good working order
• Manage food storage properly
• Check freshness and quality of ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet established standards
• Monitor food stock levels and identify shortages
• Place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and assist with dishwashing
• Direct and delegate tasks to other staff when necessary
• Follow established food safety and hygiene guidelines
• Adhere to portion control guidelines and recipes accurately
