## Title: Contracts Engineer/Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Contracts Engineer/Administrator to manage contractual matters and ensure compliance with project requirements. You will develop, implement, and review contracts while maintaining best practices across all projects, making updates available to all project participants.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage contractual matters between company and contractors using a thorough and systematic approach
- Prepare commercial and contractual correspondence during contract implementation
- Maintain tracking systems for all contractual correspondence and ensure accurate, comprehensive contract records
- Produce and maintain reports for Site Instructions, Contract Change Requests, Contract Changes (actual and foreseen), and supporting communications
- Liaise with Project Management to prepare, negotiate, and ensure execution of all Variation Orders with clients and subcontractors
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to the Project Management Team
- Assist in preparing invoices to clients in accordance with contract terms and manage the payment process to ensure timely settlements
- Attend periodic (weekly) progress meetings and ensure minutes reflect an unbiased record of discussions and issues
- Review and verify Contractor's Monthly Progress Reports before issue to Client
- Assist in evaluating Contractor's contractual claims and provide recommendations for financial settlement
- Assist in settlement of the Contract Final Account
- Process insurance claims and vendor back charges with appropriate Company departments
- Support insurance-related matters concerning loss or damage
- Monitor Company free-issued equipment and materials from Client to subcontractors, tracking delivery timelines
