Compounding Operator at MacTay Consulting

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Compounding Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and optimal operation of compounding equipment. You must have a deep understanding of the equipment you work with, including proper settings and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce all safety rules, regulations, and departmental procedures
• Operate compounding equipment optimally by understanding and complying with all department SOPs
• Coordinate with the Weighing operator to ensure availability of raw materials and satisfy production plans
• Compound emulsions of different variants and other products as required
• Perform equipment maintenance and monitor functionality
• Mix and compound materials using correctly weighed raw materials in alignment with Weighing sheets and IWI documentation
• Ensure adherence to operational checklists, working instructions, and equipment standard operating procedures
• Minimize bulk waiting time at filling lines through optimal utilization of mixer running time
• Follow the correct process order and maintain proper documentation at all times

Requirements

• Minimum Second Class Lower in BSc/HND in Sciences and Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or Chemical Engineering)
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in FMCG or cosmetics industries
• Good knowledge of computer software applications, such as MS Office
• Experience with major change processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP (materials requisition)
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence tools
• Ability to manage technical projects
