A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. Role Description - This full-time, on-site Compliance Officer role is based in Abuja, where the employee will ensure that the bank operates within regulatory requirements and adheres to legal standards. - The Compliance Officer will develop, manage, and monitor compliance programs, conduct internal audits, provide guidance on compliance issues, and collaborate with departments to mitigate risk. Regularly reviewing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements will also be a key responsibility. Required Qualifications: - Experience working as a compliance officer in a microfinance bank. - Strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills - Highly developed Analytical Skills for identifying and mitigating risks - Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting - Knowledge of Finance and familiarity with financial regulations - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field - Certifications in compliance or risk management (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) are a plus
