Job description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Position Overview: - The ideal candidate will play a key role in safeguarding operational integrity, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring that the business consistently operates within approved guidelines and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor company activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. - Conduct routine compliance checks, audits, and risk assessments, highlighting gaps and recommending corrective actions. - Follows up with statutory bodies on requirements and renewal of registrations documents. - Ensuring that all procurement process and compliant documentations (IRR, CAC, Tax Returns etc.) are up to date. - Inform management on update requirements, payment of annual fees and all statutory changes. - Assist in reviewing contracts, proposals, and operational processes to ensure regulatory alignment before approval. - Draft, update, and implement compliance frameworks and operating procedures. - Prepare and submit compliance reports, documentation, and regulatory filings within stipulated timelines. - Investigate incidents of non-compliance and escalate findings where necessary. - Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the organisation. - Maintain accurate compliance records, logs, and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections. - Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans across business units. - Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders during inspections or information requests. - Track and report compliance trends, highlighting recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field with 5 years experience. - Prior experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or related functions. - Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail. - High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgement. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams status. Renumeration Package NGN300,000 - NGN350,000 / Month.
