## Title: Compliance Assistant

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join AHZ Associates Nigeria in Lagos. The Compliance Assistant supports the organisation in maintaining compliance with UKVI regulations and internal compliance standards. The role focuses on accurate documentation, file review, and adherence to UKVI sponsorship, student visa, and immigration processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations, policies, and sponsor guidance
  • Review student visa and immigration application files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Ensure supporting documents meet UKVI standards and requirements
  • Maintain and update compliance trackers, records, and audit files
  • Support internal compliance audits and readiness reviews
  • Work closely with admissions, counselling, and operations teams to ensure UKVI compliance
  • Flag compliance risks, errors, or breaches to the Compliance Officer promptly
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and institutional information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Law, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • NYSC completed
  • 0–1 years of experience in compliance, immigration support, education consultancy, or related administrative role
  • Basic understanding of UK student visa and UKVI compliance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
