## Title: Compensation and Benefits Officer
About the Role
Resource Intermediaries Limited is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a detail-oriented Compensation and Benefits Officer to join our Lagos office. This role is responsible for the effective management of compensation and benefits for outsourced employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare assigned clients' invoices and payrolls upon receipt of necessary inputs from HR Business Partners
- Obtain necessary approvals for validated invoices and payrolls from appropriate authorities and prepare debit advices
- Resolve post-salary payment issues with HR Operations within appropriate timeframes
- Prepare salary structures as requested by Business Development Group, HR Operations Unit, or other departments
- Compute appropriate PAYE, pension contributions, and process NSITF, ITF, Group Life, and other statutory deductions in compliance with Federal and State Regulations
- Prepare exit computations in accordance with employment offer terms and conditions
- Verify medical bills submitted for personnel under medical management, confirm accuracy with hospitals, and ensure charges are within reasonable tariffs before processing payment
- Compute leave allowance payments for personnel under medical management after verifying amounts due and preventing overpayment or duplicate payments
- Maintain regular updates to enrollee lists for HMO and Group Life Insurance premium payments
- Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure timely client invoice payments and conduct reconciliations as needed
- Prepare year-end payment schedules for 13th month payments and unpaid leave allowances
- Provide support for industrial and road accident claim filings, liaising with statutory insurance bodies to ensure timely claim payouts and adequate staff compensation
- Close payroll in the HRIS system on or before the 5th of the following month
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisor or line manager
