Job Summary

Christian Miracle Hospital seeks a dedicated and compassionate midwife to provide high-quality antenatal and delivery care. The midwife will serve as a primary relationship manager for expectant mothers, supporting them through the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods to ensure excellent maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position at Christian Miracle Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. The midwife will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe, respectful, and faith-centered birth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive antenatal care and counseling to expectant mothers
• Support patients through labor and delivery, managing the birthing process with confidence and compassion
• Administer medications and monitor patient health throughout the maternal journey
• Assist in medical procedures as required
• Provide postnatal care and support
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Maintain regular contact with registered patients through weekly check-ins to ensure continuity of care
• Generate new antenatal registrations and attract deliveries through community engagement and networking
• Encourage patients to utilize hospital laboratory and scanning services
• Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
